![]() This is one mystery I did solve, however. It kind of looks like an extra jet for one of the mini-subs, but it doesn’t appear on the box art at all, and the instructions are again no help. Also unusual is that LEGO didn’t include anything inside the boxes, so maybe they’re meant to serve some other purpose than storage.Įqually baffling is this other assembly. the two crates are mostly self-explanatory, but there’s nothing on the box or in the instructions that explains how they’re meant to interact with the rest of the set. The build starts off with these three small accessories. This variation is currently exclusive to the Hydro Bounty, too! The main difference is that a single hatch is used, oh, and that the part has been recolored into a glorious transparent light blue. The hatch cover for the mini-subs uses the same concept used in the Creator Expert 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery. More parts that are unique to Seabound, but that appear in all 5 of the sets, are these great dual-molded cockpit and wave amulet pieces. (The compass 1×1 round tile has appeared before, but is still a nice little inclusion.) We’ll start off by highlighting two exclusives – the rear sail printed on a vinyl sheet, and two “Wu Bot face” printed 2×2 tiles. This set contains a good number of rare parts and colors, including a few that are unique to either this set or the Seabound theme. (If you’re looking for more insights into the background on the Hydro Bounty, the set’s designer, Niek van Slagmaat, shared a ton of details in this Twitter thread) Leaving Ninjargon behind, stickers 7 and 8 have a plain-text number, 8927, which may be a sly reference to Bionicle set 8927 Toa Terrain Crawler that had a similar underwater theme. ![]() Stickers 2 and 4 are for Cole’s and Lloyd’s mini-subs and have “C”/”Earth” and “L”/”Energy” labels. Sticker 1 has a “Danger” warning at the base of each copy. There’s a decent amount of Ninjargon here. ![]() The sticker sheet is pretty large, but that’s mostly due to the size of the images. Inside the box are eight numbered part bags, a ninth bag containing some larger parts, and a bag with the instruction booklet, vinyl sail, and sticker sheet. Inset shots along the bottom call out the “nose mech” transformation, the extending vanes around the engines, and the spring-loaded missile shooters on the leading edge of the Bounty. The minifigures are shown to good advantage against a high-contrast reddish background, too. The ninja’s mini-subs can be seen parking inside the Hydro Bounty’s hull, and the front of the Bounty has transformed into a mini-mech. The back of the box shows off the various play features for this set. The age range is set at 9+, which feels accurate to me based on building complexity. There wasn’t any room to bulk out the background with much more. the main image shows off the Hydro Bounty, the smaller support vehicles, and all the minifigures that make up this set. This set comes packaged in a standard tab-sealed box with Ninjago Seabound thematic designs. Unboxing the parts, instructions and sticker sheet Sound too good to be true? Read on and judge for yourself! It has a whopping ten minifigures, a giant submarine packed with surprises, and even a fun twist on a Stingray muscle car. There’s been a lot of focus lately on the massive 10294 Titanic, but did you know LEGO has also released a lot of things that also deal with nautical themes? Why, there’s even a whole season of LEGO Ninjago shows and sets devoted to that sort of thing! The flagship of the Seabound sub-theme is LEGO Ninjago 71756 Hydro Bounty – a 1159 piece set available now from the LEGO Shop Online for US $129.99 | CAN $169.99 | UK £119.99.

Freezing bacon bits is a great way to extend their shelf life and ensure you always have some on hand for your favorite recipes. ![]() But what do you do when you have more bacon bits than you can use before they go bad? Can you freeze them? Bacon bits are a delicious addition to many dishes, from salads to baked potatoes. I mixed a friends EP over several years and many of the songs started to sound different because of different guitar tones etc Even though the same mix template was used for the duration. It's about finialising the album as a whole. I think a lot of people who do mixing are not that clued up about what mastering really entails. Once released in Final Fantasy XIV, fans can explore every nook and cranny of the Reaper job to unlock its full potential.I work pretty much exclusively deal with death, black and heavy metal material. ![]() The job also has beginner-friendly aspects, meaning that healer or tank mains can pick up a DPS role for the first time without feeling terribly overwhelmed with positionals or rotations. The job utilizes the familiarity of the melee role while still being fresh and innovative, which is important when it comes to how highly populated the DPS role is in the game. The Reaper manages to bring unique features and stylish flair while still fitting in nicely beside the other updated jobs in Endwalker. Looking past these inconveniences, the Reaper job brings a lot of promise to the future of FFXIV. The DPS role in particular is notorious for having longer queue times for instanced dungeons. With more players enjoying Final Fantasy 14 now more than ever, DPS mains might have a difficult time enjoying the new content when they have to wait in long queue lines. There will also be an influx of players levelling up the Reaper job, which means issues like oversaturation in dungeons and several players attempting to level up with FATEs will occur. It can be overwhelming to learn so many new skills at once, especially with players unfamiliar with the Dragoon class or DPS roles in general. The Reaper job starts automatically at Level 70, meaning a majority of the skills will already be unlocked. While the Reaper job in FFXIV seems to pull the best aspects of playing a melee DPS class together in a neat bow, there are a few setbacks when it comes to player experience outside of battle. This is also beneficial for newcomers who aren't used to playing classes that use positionals, giving them a small taste that will benefit them when they are ready to move on to other melee roles. The Reaper in FFXIV only has two positional attacks so far, allowing players to perform without worrying about placement as much. The Dragoon relies heavily on positional attacks, along with other DPS jobs such as the Monk. Positionals are attacks that do more damage when the player is facing a certain direction relative to the boss, usually either the flank or the rear. ![]() ![]() When it comes to positionals, on the other hand, Reaper has an advantage. Assuming a player's maiming gear has been augmented and set with materia, players changing jobs in FFXIV from Dragoon to Reaper will have a simpler time of it when starting at Level 80. The only gear that is necessary to update right away would be the scythe weapon, since it is exclusive to the job. Since they utilize the same gear type, players who have mastered Dragoon prior to Endwalker will have access to powerful gear that will make the beginning of the expansion easier. Players who main the Dragoon role will find the Reaper in FFXIV very comfortable. ![]() Set up Dynamic Wallpapers which change as per the core you’re using ( guide). However, if you want to customise your experience even more, you can: If you properly followed Part I and Part II, you’ll get a decent looking RetroArch that uses around 200MB of your device’s storage. The orbiting space station ended up in a dump in Stevenage. The guy’s family recently discovered it and sold it to the Academy. A schoolteacher was tutoring his daughter and he gave him the Aries 1B spacecraft as payment. Some of the crew wanted the miniatures and sets to be part of a travelling show, but Kubrick didn’t want the mystery of how it was produced revealed. However, someone finally insisted that he deliver the movie and we had to get it finished. Periodically, the studio would get upset at all the delays, but Kubrick did a masterful job of protecting the crew from the pressures. I was hired for nine months, but this turned out to be two and a half years. A single frame of film took four minutes to produce, so the Stargate sequence took months and months. These were turned into controlled blurs – like if you leave a camera shutter open while shooting cars at night, you get streaks of light. It ran for 24 hours a day, taking photographs of 15ft-tall artworks, backlit and full of patterns and coloured gels. The family sold it to the Academyįor the psychedelic sequence at the end, when Keir seems to pass into a different dimension, we had to invent a whole new type of camera: the Slit Scan, a giant machine nearly 20x30ft. There’s too many things changing every day.” A teacher was tutoring Kubrick's daughter and he paid him with the Aries spacecraft. They analysed it for two weeks and said: “There’s no way, Stanley. He asked IBM to make an algorithm to help with the production process. He was a genius but even he was right at his limit. So quality control was utmost in Kubrick’s mind, but it was expensive and time-consuming. Since the film was shot on 70mm Cinerama, and would play on screens that could be 100ft wide, every irregularity would be seen. Everything had to happen in front of the camera. There were no computer-generated effects in those days. Then one day Kubrick said: “Why don’t you shoot the moonbus landing?” I was moving up. I was in close contact with NASA advisors, and one of the other designers, Harry Lange, had worked on real spacecraft for Wernher von Braun. I would design lunar landscapes and miniature spaceships, painting on cladding and adding exhaust markings to fuselages. I was only 23 but Kubrick kept giving me more and more complicated tasks. I meet astrophysicists almost every week who say that they went into their line of work because of 2001. But in the 50 years since, the film has had a profound effect, particularly the idea of making contact with any intelligent civilisations out there. If anybody had known how difficult it was going to be, it would probably never have been approved. The production cost $10m and was like a huge research and development project to get to the moon. But not at the premiere.ĭouglas Trumbull, visual effects supervisor Someone in San Francisco even ran right through the screen screaming: “It’s God!” So they came up with a new poster that said: “2001 – the ultimate trip!” I’m sure I must have watched it while I was high. Lots of people walked out of the premiere, including Rock Hudson. ![]() “I fink you know what the problem is,” he’d say in a cockney accent, “just as well as I do.” Eventually, he turned to the first assistant director, who was from east London, and said: “You do the voice for the boys.” So Hal sounded like an eastender at first. Kubrick didn’t know the exact voice he wanted for Hal, the computer that goes rogue, but we needed something to work with for shooting. ![]() The film was very prescient about the dangers of AI. ‘I’m sure I must have watched it while I was high’ … Keir Dullea as Dave Bowman. |
